Canada—Students who are interested in pursuing a career in Child and Youth Care may apply now at NorQuest College. The institution is already accepting applications for the Winter 2022 intake.
The program prepares students to help and support children experiencing social, behavioral, and emotional challenges in life. Graduates of the Child and Youth Care program will be full of knowledge and skills to support children and youth in venturing into their lives, especially those at high risk for addiction, and physical and mental health issues.
The Child and Youth Care diploma offering runs for four terms and includes three practicums, equivalent to600 hours.
For students who have been on the waitlist for the Early Learning and Child Care Diploma for January 2022, they can request to be moved to the Child and Youth Care program for January 2022. However, this switch does not guarantee the student a seat in the program until all requirements are met.
