The Southeastern Conference (SEC) provosts have selected the Louisiana State University (LSU) to lead the first virtual SEC Emerging Scholars Career Preparation Workshop on Sept. 29–30 as part of the Emerging Scholars Program that aims to provide top scholars professional development and networking opportunities.
The workshop was designed to prepare current doctoral students and a limited number of postdoctoral researchers for a career in the higher education sector.
