Students at University for the Creative Arts (UCA) who will be commencing a program at the Epsom campus for autumn intake can still apply for accommodation. There are five different accommodation blocks available.

Home to the university’s Business School for the Creative Industries, the Epsom campus is close to the center of town, with its excellent range of shops, restaurants, and pubs.

Key Takeaways:

  • Accommodations at UCA’s Epsom campus are still available for the autumn intake.
  • UCA has five different accommodation options, including a new one located either next to campus or a 10-minute walk away.
  • UCA’s accommodation costs range from around £140 to £180 per week and vary depending on the students’ level of study.

There are five different accommodation blocks available: Ashley Road, Crossways House, Bradford House, Wilberforce Court, and Worple Road, located next to campus or a 10-minute walk away.

Ashley Road at UCA’s Epsom campus accommodates up to 28 students across six flats with shared kitchen facilities and bathrooms. Meanwhile, the Crossways House is made especially for student accommodation and has been home to 99 students.

UCA has also introduced its newest accommodation for the start of the 2021 academic year, Bradford House. It has a shared kitchen and communal space and houses up to 99 students.

The Epsom campus’ Wilberforce Court also accommodates up to 70 students in total. It features a complex with 12 flats on three floors, with each flat having between four and seven bedrooms, and a shared bathroom/shower and kitchen facilities.

UCA has on-campus accommodations as well, the Worple House. It has eight flats and houses up to 58 students. In addition, one flat is accessible for students with disabilities.

All these accommodation options are accessible for students since the blocks are located next to campus or a 10-minute walk away.

Student wardens live on-site, so there is help out of hours should residents need it. While there are no parking facilities, the accommodation blocks provide necessities, including internet access, which is included in the residence fees.

UCA’s Epsom campus operates a no-smoking policy in all its residences and buildings.

For 2020-2021, the price range is around £140 to £180 per week. The cost varies depending on the student’s level of study and the location and accommodation they choose.
