University Canada West (UCW) extends its support to its Master of Business Administration (MBA) students through a recently signed partnership agreement with the Chartered Professionals in Human Resources of British Columbia and Yukon (CPHR BC & Yukon).

CPHR BC & Yukon offers professional development and networking opportunities and resources for every stage of its members’ careers.

Key Takeaways:

  • UCW has partnered with CPHR BC & Yukon to allow MBA students to participate in the Human Resources elective as student members.
  • CPHR BC & Yukon will provide professional development and networking opportunities to Swinburne MBA students.
  • UCW continuously monitors industry trends and creates elective areas.

CPHR BC & Yukon was founded in 1942 and now boasts over 6,800 members in BC and the Yukon, including CEOs, VPs, HR directors, HR generalists, HR advisers, consultants, educators, students, and small-business owners. UCW’s collaboration with CPHR BC & Yukon allows its MBA students to take the Human Resources elective area to join CPHR BC & Yukon as student members.
