Universities that support diversity among students, teachers, and staff will be honored with the INSIGHT Into Diversity Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Award in 2021. It can also be recalled that INSIGHT Into Diversity magazine has recognized Adelphi University’s Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program/Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP/STEP) in the 2021 Inspiring Programs in STEM Award.
Moreover, Adelphi began recognizing transgender students and staff who choose to alter their identities on their identification cards without changing their names officially in 2021.
