Oxford International, an accredited private education provider that offers academic English courses at schools in the UK and North America, also offers routes to higher education through university pathway programs in partnership with universities like SFSU.

In fact, the new pathway program will expand its existing locations from the UK and Europe to the United States.

According to Oxford International’s chief executive officer Lil Bremermann-Richard, their new collaboration with SFSU marks the beginning of more months of work to bring opportunities closer to students and a global partner network.

Since SFSU is ideally situated in the heart of San Francisco, California, students have access to a wide range of opportunities in terms of academic education and their future career trajectories as global citizens.

More than 27,000 students are currently attending the university, including international students from hundreds of countries.

For Alex Hwu, dean of SF State’s College of Extended Learning, their collaboration with OIEG crafted a student-centred program that aims to provide greater access for international students to experience an SF State education and total campus diversity.
